Concave chair - replace and recover

This Parker Knoll "Statesman" had definitely seen better days. The former fake leather cover had bobbled and warn through in numerous places. Once I had removed the cover it was clear the foam needed replacing too, as it was also deteriorating and disintigrating as is common with foam over a certain age.

Having stripped it back to its core, I replaced all the foam and then recovered in a lovely yellow pure wool fabric. The advantage of wool for a concave chair like this is that is has plenty of stretch which helps when fitting it to the curves.
