Fireside armchair - traditional upholster

This armchair was in a terrible state when I first got hold of it! It had lived in a garage for many years, a mouse had clearly set up home in it, and every aspect needed fixing.

I stripped it down to its frame and repaired some of the joints which were no longer holding firm. I then built it up again usuing traditional webbing, hessian and hogs hair stuffing. The advantage of using traditional methods and materials is, not only were they in keeping with the original chair, but the materials used means this chair should now last for many years to come. Finally, it was covered in a grey boucle fabric.
