Sofa - modern repair and recover

This modern sofa was an ex-display purchase. So even when it was new it had seen plenty of wear. The owners had a busy family home with kids and dogs treating the sofa as kids and dogs do. Meaning it needed some TLC!

The foam was still basically sound so I only needed to replace a small area of that. One of the arms had collapsed in on itself and some springs were coming through. So I repaired the arm and springs and then recovered with a gorgeous pure wool tweed from the Isle of Bute.
